Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre is one of New Zealand’s largest conference and accommodation venues, totally dedicated to staging conferences and special events. Located with convenient access from Auckland's International Airport and with public transport options available from downtown Auckland City, Waipuna is set in 6.26 acres of parkland overlooking a natural saltwater lagoon. The unique location and spacious surroundings offer attractive walks and a relaxing outdoor environment.
Please note that to encourage room sharing and reduce accommodation costs we are intending to email names of all delegates who wish to share accommodation, a couple of weeks before the conference for delegates to identify who they could share with. Permission to release your name will be on the conference registration form.

The Bureau Rooms are located in the Terrace Wing of the Hotel. It contains a queen and double sized bed and a working desk. The bathroom features a separate toilet and shower over bath. Pakuranga Motor Lodge

This is a modest motel, offering a cheaper alternative to Waipuna Hotel. As
stated above it is a 20-30 minute walk by road, but you can also walk around the
road.

The conference has secured block bookings at the hotels. Rooms will be allocated on a first-in basis until Friday, 4 July 2008, as long as there are rooms available. After that date, all unallocated rooms will be released and no guarantee can be made that rooms will be available.
Booked accommodation must be guaranteed with either a credit card number or a deposit of at least one night’s deposit. The credit card will be used as a guarantee only and no charges will be debited prior to check-out. If you prefer to prepay all your accommodation by cheque or direct credit then this can be done on the registration form.
Bookings should be made either as part of the online registration process or on the registration form and faxed to 03 3520197 or posted to the Conference Organiser, Glenda Harding, Harding Consultants Ltd, PO Box 5512, Christchurch.
On check-out, your accommodation costs can be settled with cash, eftpos or a credit card.
If you cancel your accommodation after Friday, 4 July 2008, your credit card may be charged a cancellation fee levied by the hotel.
Please advise Harding Consultants of any change to a reservation, rather than contacting the hotel itself.
