Living Streets Aotearoa organises conferences that bring together delegates, leaders and advocates from government, academia, planning, engineering, community groups, health, environment, design, and business with the goal of creating walking-friendly communities.
Living Streets is hosting the fourth New Zealand Walking Conference on 2/3 August 2010 in Wellington. The conference will focus on the economics of walking.

Living Streets also has links with Walk21 which organises an international walking conference each year. In 2009 our Project Officer Janet Lawson was in New York for the Walk21 conference and filed this report and photo presentation.
