Registrations are now open for the Summer Steps Challenge

Registrations are now open for people wanting to take part in the Summer Steps challenge. This is a trial competition for people in Wellington and Christchurch.  So if you are working in one of these areas, go to the summer steps page and register your team.

You are challenged to organise a team from your workplace and compete against other teams in the regions to see who can spend the most time walking, during the month of  February.  Its all about encouraging people to reduce their reliance on cars and realise that walking is simple, fun and free. You will contribute to reducing road congestion and even get some exercise into the bargain.  The weather is great in February so get out and enjoy the view from the footpath, it is far nicer than sitting in a traffic jam.
