Tuesday Lunchtime Civic Walks

Tuesday lunchtime walks start at Plimmer statue (man and dog) at the base of Plimmer Steps at 12.30pm.

The walks are graded to indicate whether the walk is along the flat or whether climbing steps is involved.

The walks are designed to last less than 1 hour so that those who work in the city can get back to work on time.

The aim of the walks is to show people shortcuts around the city as well as historical and modern points of interest and at the same time allow people to keep fit.

On the second Tuesday of each month the walks begin with a trip in either a bus or cable-car in order to get further out of the city. We then walk back into town. You will need to bring money to cover the cost of the fare on those days.

Sensible shoes should be worn, trainers recommended, otherwise ordinary clothes are fine.

The leader will be there - RAIN or SHINE or GALES.
