2017 National Walking Summit

We have now closed registrations. One full day of talking walking.

This event is an exciting opportunity for those involved in the walking movement to explore our theme of  'how to make world leading walking places' including:

  • Break-out sessions to create new opportunities and share best practices

  • "Why can't we Walk"  Ben Wooliscroft is our featured speaker to inspire walking champions from acress New Zealand

  • With September's election looming this is the time to hear from political parties on how they will make our towns and cities Walking places

  • Intensive skill-based training to equip attendees to manage their communications to progress the Walking Summit agenda in their own networks

Attendees will explore the growing power of walking and how through the creation of vital and vibrant communities, we can help bridge community divides and overcome existing disparities.
