New Plymouth carfree day

New Plymouth District Council
Take a walk, ride a bicycle, catch the bus
Next Tuesday, thousands of people around the world will leave their car-keys hanging on the hook and choose an alternative form of transport.

Why? To make a difference
Fewer cars produce less pollution, give people the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, see our great region, and even get some exercise while they’re at it.

You can too
So make a decision to get to work and back without your car on 22 September. The more people who do it, the greater the difference.

To find out more, contact Nathaniel Benefield at the New Plymouth District Council.
