New Plymouth foreshore/coastal walkway

PDF file. The city’s 6km coastal edge has a contiguous coastal reserve that contains a number of well-used beach sites and other recreational facilities including a major aquatic centre. The laying of a simple 6km concrete pathway along the length of the coast has provided the community with an accessible walking, running, cycling, and rollerblading recreation connection. Strong linkages are created back into the city along this walkway.
