What is it about?

Walk2Work Day is a yearly event to encourage people to walk more in their daily lives, especially to consider walking as part of their daily work commute.

When & where is it?

At various locations around New Zealand, walking events are organised, this year on Wed 14 March. People who have walked all or part of the way to work get a special treat! Check out where events are held close to you - details coming soon.

How can I participate?

Walk2Work is easy and you can participate in the following ways:

  • Leave your car at home and walk to work!
  • Take part in or help with organising an event near you.

If you would like to run a Walk2Work event in your area, please contact walk2work@livingstreets.org.nz. Have a look at the Walk2Work Day Guide (118K pdf) for ideas and inspiration.
