Submission on Vision Seaview Gracefield
Living Streets Lower Hutt conditionally supports the proposed Vision Seaview Gracefield. However we would like some amendments.
We are supportive of the four themes of the vision.
We are particularly supportive of Theme 1’s following key outcomes and their associated initiatives
The Living Streets Lower Hutt group was formed in June 2009 and is meeting regularly. At the meeting to set up the group, Living Streets Aotearoa president Celia Wade-Brown and director Liz Thomas gave a presentation about Living Streets and Walking Action groups.

Living Streets Aotearoa is the New Zealand organisation for people on foot, promoting walking-friendly communities. We are a nationwide organisation with local branches and affiliates throughout New Zealand.
We want more people walking and enjoying public spaces be they young or old, fast or slow, whether walking, sitting, commuting, shopping, between appointments, or out on the streets for exercise, for leisure or for pleasure.
