Land Transport New Zealand Research Report 289

This research project investigates accident rates for cyclists and pedestrians in urban centres and the risk to these road users if traffic volumes or cycle and pedestrian volumes increase. The research was undertaken between 2002 and 2004 with data being collected in Christchurch, Palmerston North and Hamilton.
