This is the report from the joint Wellington Railway Station Community Street Review November 2015. This street review was undertaken by Living Streets Aotearoa Wellington members and the Wellington City Council Accessibility Advisory Group.
See the attachment below to find out why you should do a Community Street Review
Community Street Reviews were developed by Living Streets Aotearoa, and further developed and supported by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA). They are an ideal method for assessing pedestrian satisfaction and the quality of the walking environment.
See the method here on the NZTA site.
Living Streets Aotearoa is the New Zealand organisation for people on foot, promoting walking-friendly communities. We are a nationwide organisation with local branches and affiliates throughout New Zealand.
We want more people walking and enjoying public spaces be they young or old, fast or slow, whether walking, sitting, commuting, shopping, between appointments, or out on the streets for exercise, for leisure or for pleasure.
