Durie Hill's special attractions (Wanganui)

Wanganui District Council community link The Durie Hill pedestrian tunnel, located opposite the Whanganui City Bridge, leads to the historic Durie Hill Elevator. Built in 1919, it is the only earthbound elevator in New Zealand and one of only two in the world.
